I'm Sarah. I live in Manchester. I was born here and have lived here for most of my life apart from a few years in Liverpool for my degree, London where I did youth work and a PGCE and a few months in Zimbabwe.
I am married to Alistair and we have two wonderful daughters.
Some of the things I love are the seaside, cycling, the Lake District, VW camper vans, red wine, real ale, chocolate, helping children discover they can do something they thought they couldn't, scrabble and being with family and friends.
I can juggle, have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and am slowly teaching myself to play the saxophone.
When photographing a wedding I am looking for all those important details, for the emotions and interactions that make up the day. My aim is to tell the story of this special day and to create a set of beautiful images that will bring back happy memories.
In a portrait session I am working to capture people's characters and the relationships between family members or groups of friends, to make images that you'll love to display.
I also photograph flowers, cities, landscapes and some of the quirky aspects of life.
